The warm, husky voice of
Pat Yankee has charmed jazz listeners for many
years. From her days of singing with Turk Murphy's
band at San Francisco's famous Earthquake McGoon's
to her performances at Spanish clubs, where she
was dubbed the "white queen of jazz"
to the Sacramento Jazz Jublilee where she was
named "Empress of Jazz", Pat has kept
the works of the jazz greats alive and swinging.
Most recently, she has been performing a very
successful tribute to Bessie Smith at jazz festivals
throughout the country.
Here you can read Pat's biography, listen to
samples from her repertoire and purchase latest
CDs and tapes.
Enjoy yourself, honey
